Timmy picked me up at the airport. Lashings of rain since I got here and more to come today (Hurricane Saint Bridget?).
I went to bed at about 10am (2am California time) and slept until 5pm. I tried to stay up but went back to bed at 11:30pm and was wide awake by 4am. Not much you can do at that hour until the household gets up. I listened to NPR, catching up on all the stories I missed, then got up at about 6 to read (Current book: The Jungle).
I feel great now but I know from experience that I will start to flag around midday.
