HUGUENOT CEMETERY
This little postage-stamp sized piece of green on Merrion Row is the final resting place of the Huguenot community in Ireland. The Huguenots were the big losers of the Wars of Religion. For a time they were tolerated in France but after the revocation of the Edict of Nantes many were expelled and others fled.
