It was raining when we got to Saumur to buy our tickets for the train to Paris. Sylvie, the ticket agent was really helpful. She put us right on a number of things that the SNCF.fr website forgot to mention. We bought the tickets and drove downtown for some lunch.
The Saturday market was winding down. We parked behind Saint Nicolas and walked over to Place Saint Pierre for a hot chocolate. But the lady said she wasn't making hot chocolate until after 2pm. We decided to eat our sandwich in the car on the way to Azay-Le-Rideau.
