The daily commute.
I took this picture when I got back from Killybegs. I decided not to go to class this afternoon, but instead to stay home and cook. I invited a bunch of people so I had to get everything ready.
I made a big pot of steamed mussels. In Killybegs, the man told me that they were €5 a kilo. He pulled a big bag out of the fridge and told me I could have them all for €7. When he put them on the scale there was more than 2 kilos. That's a lot of mussels, but when we were finished eating there was only a big pile of shells left.
