PORT-BOULET

Hanging around waiting for the TER

That zany guy Phil, relaxing before going back to his troglo for the rest of the Summer.

Phil took us to the train station. We picked him up in our car and gave him the keys for a few days. We hung out for a while in downtown Port-Boulet at the tabac - it was the only thing that was open on a Monday.
The train station at Port Boulet is an anomaly. It was built to accomodate a spur on the main rail line so that building materials and equipment could be moved to the site of the first nuclear power station at Chinon (It is nowhere near Chinon, but that's another story).
