We had a very special dinner at Nicholas' house tonight.
Gilbert is visiting from Lorraine. He lives in a town that is famous for making all the manhole covers in France (Pont à Mousson).
We had a wonderful meal:
Apéritifs
crudités, saucisson sec, blinis with tarama
Main course
Pavé de saumon à l'unilatéral
Moules
Riz à l'italienne
Champignons
Déssertes
Tarte au pommes
Fraises au vin blanc, crème fraîche
Gilbert, Nicholas, Rich, Jenny, Peter
We had the leftovers next day for lunch on Nicholas' new garden terrasse
