Our neighbor, Lady Willis has a frog in her backyard. She used to have two but she stepped on one and he hasn’t been seen since. This little fellow sits quietly in the flowerbed waiting for his chance to hop in through the kitchen door. The cat is just as vigilant on the other side.
Frogs, and most amphibians are protected in France. This protected status doesn’t stop the French from eating large quantities of farmed frogs legs. Bon apetit.
