Another boatload of trouble at Phil's that will probably be the last for this season.
Invited guests included Les Willis, Peter and Jenny; the Anglo-American couple, Cassie and Kerry (a cross-gender relationship despite the names); the Czechs, Stanya and Danny; and me and Rich. Phil also invited the Bourgueil vigneron, Pierre-Jacques who regaled the crowd with stories about how difficult it is to sell a wine whose name most English-speakers cannot pronounce. (He had another story about the "Le Clape" family winemakers and what saying "I'd like a case of the Clape" would sound like to an English-speaking wine merchant.)
