We finished the joints in Rich's room today.
All the electric cables have disappeared behind the chaux. It was a dirty, messy job but it is done now and he can start to put his bedroom back together again. There is still a big mess to be cleaned - a lot of sandy dust everywhere. We bought some new bags for the vacuum and we are ready to attack it this weekend.
The floor is another problem. Rich had already cleaned the floor and treated it with a wax coat to protect it. But lots of dust and chaux stuck to the floor and must be painstakingly cleaned, one tile at a time. Fortunately, most of the floor had furniture with plastic drop cloths covering it. Tomorrow, we will start the cleanup in earnest.
